[oom] April Fool's Day
Oh, River is not a morning person, but this prank requires some dedication and preparation. She has her sonic screwdriver set to wake her an hour before the alarm, and she'd packed the blanket and the picnic basket the afternoon before while he was out running.
The matter of the prank itself is a simple few moments with the screwdriver on the red setting. Quick. Harmless. And best of all, reversible.
She still expects to get a bit of a hiding for it, but he did throw down the gauntlet. Her cheeks ache from grinning at the very thought of the look on his face when he figures out just what she'd done.
Prank accomplished, she slips into her boots and shushes Damocles, swearing him to silence. Rather, bribing him with future promises of bacon. She leaves the note on the pillow and catches herself just before she kisses him on the cheek. If he wakes, the surprise will be ruined before she can make her escape.
Dear Richard~
Have been kidnapped by rabbits. They said something about their pelts being used for "unseemly" purposes. Their leader says, if you ever want to see me again, come alone.

He watches her carefully through half-lidded eyes, waiting for what comes next.

And then she's leaning into his hands where he's touching her in other ways. Back to where they started. She does not break eye contact with him, blinking languidly. She feels so vulnerable to him here, even in the lead. Her thighs tremble as she lowers herself, sliding along his length, stroking soft skin over hard. She's teasing herself as much as she is him. She wants so desperately to please him.

He uses his hands to stroke and pet her, doing his best to please in his own way.

She rocks against him, forward and back, along the whole length of him. Her hands cover the backs of his, bending her head and bringing them back to her face, kissing and nuzzling into them for a moment.
And then she guides them to her hips, nodding and gasping when he grips her tight, his fingertips digging into her flesh.

Together, they find their time, rocking in one smooth motion as he groans with pleasure.

The sight of him fills her. His expression is so intent, focused on her. She leans forward and places her hand over his heart, melting down to capture his mouth, changing the angle, making her shudder and moan against his lips.
no subject
His breath hitches, his groans becoming short little pants as he exerts himself.
no subject
So deep, so good. She holds on tight, every place he's touching her, trembling, wanting to take him higher.

He can't keep this up much longer.

My love, my mate.

He's panting hard as he lowers them both back down to earth.

His hands gently stroke her sides up and down, fingertips simply moving up and down as he catches his breath.
"This what you had in mind for this morning?"
no subject
"Better," she breathes, her voice pitched low. "Much, much, better."

He ducks his chin down again, not to guard his throat, but to catch her mouth in a long slow kiss.

Until the wind changes and the smell of scorched rabbit tickles her nose.
She groans as she pulls away. "Damn it."
no subject
"I think it's only the one side." He hopes it is.
no subject
That done, she makes her way back to him. "I think you may be right." She returns to the blanket, laying down next to him. She wasn't done with the cuddling part yet.
no subject
"At least there's still the bread and cheese," he sighs, holding his arm out for her to pillow upon.

"It's disappeared since then. I don't know why."
no subject
"What's the Dreaming?"
She insinuates a knee between his, tangling her legs with his, the better to gather his warm before the breeze steals it.
